Hi, I'm Mrs. Cyr!
This is my 6th year at Brennan-Rogers!
I graduated from UCONN (I am a huge Huskies fan) with a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and a
Bachelor’s in Elementary Education as well as English.
I have known that I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher since I was
in kindergarten!
My favorite part of the kindergarten day is independent reading
as well as Art Talk.
I live about 2 miles from school which allows me to
easily meet with parents before or after school, bring my dog and daughter to visit occasionally, and attend special events and activities.
I am married – sometimes Mr. Cyr comes to visit and help in our room! We just had a baby in January of 2015 - her name is Linnea, and she is so much fun! I LOVE being a mom!
We also have a therapy dog-named Molly and a cat -named Mo. Molly is allowed to visit schools and hospitals and will come to class once everyone returns their permission slip!
When I am not in school I love to hike with Molly & Linnea, visit new places, go to museums, and cook.

My Thoughts on Our Classroom Environment are Reflected Below:
"....It is an attitude that respects
children. It is a place where children receive guidance and encouragement from the responsible adults around them. It is an environment where children can experiment and try out new ideas without fear of failure. It is an atmosphere that builds children's self-confidence so they dare to take
risks. It is an environment that nurtures a love of learning."
